Interact Club began in 5th November, 1962 with the first club initiated by the Rotary Club Melbourne, Florida, USA. It has grown steadily to more than 5300 clubs, located in small towns as well as in large cities.
Each Interact club is self-governing and self-supporting. Each club is sponsored by a Rotary club. The sponsoring Rotary club provides advisors and works with others to whom the club has obligations (school authorities, for example).
The club is governed by a constitution, prescribed by Rotary International, and by by-laws.
The Interact Club of Khulna began their journey in 4th November, 1983 under the leadership of Ex-Itr. Charter President Past District Interact Representative Mr. Aminur Rahman Amin as the First Community Based Interact Club of Rotary International District-3280 BANGLADESH. The club already pass his 500th general meeting.
